A pediatric electrophysiologist is a physician or medical professional who has gone through a full course of training in pediatrics and has 3 more additional years of training in pediatric cardiology. A pediatric electrophysiologist has also completed a year or more of additional training in the area of heart rhythm problems in infants, children, adolescents and young adults.
